Corporate Events at Danby Castle

Danby Castle is an ideal location for a wide variety of meetings.  Our unique location guarantees you the utmost privacy, yet we are only 4 miles off the main Whitby to Guisborough Road (A171).  There are also 3 routes in and out so for that highly confidential meeting we are the ideal place.  

The nearest airport is Durham Teeside (approx 35 minutes away) and we are only 30 minutes from Middlesbrough and an hour from Newcastle.

 In addition to business meetings in the rooms, the grounds of the castle and ruins are available for exclusive use.  You may wish to hold a sales meeting followed by a hog roast and ceili band to celebrate a successful year.  A family fun day and BBQ with a cover band or disco may be another. 

We can provide catering to suit all requirements, from a simple sandwich to hot and cold buffets, medieval banquets, hog roasts, BBQ’s and any type of meal you could possible wish for! 

The breathtaking countryside is also ideal for photo shoots for launching new products or for a press release at a ‘secret location’.
